REPLACED TRANSMISSION PARTS PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER WITH NEW OUTPUT SHAFT AND REVERSE DRUM ASSEMBLY. REINSTALLED TRANSMISSION, REPLACED TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER, FLUSHED LINES, AND TEST DROVE-GOOD. NOTE THAT DUE TO HEAVY DUTY SHIFT KIT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD.

  • UPON INSPECTION TESTED THE 4X4 OPERATION, FOUND THAT WHEN THE FRONT HUBS ARE MANUALLY LOCKED IN THE 4X4 WILL ENGAGE, AUTO HUBS ARE NOT LOCKING IN, PERFORMED PINPOINT TESTING ON THE WIRING TO SHIFT ACTUATOR, GOOD, PERFORMED VACUUM TEST ON THE SYSTEM AND FOUND A VACUUM LEAK, WILL NEED TO DISASSEMBLE THE FRONT END TO FURTHER DIAG
  • UPON INSPECTION VERIFIED THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN, PRESSURE TESTED THE SYSTEM AND SAW COOLANT LEAKING FROM A HOSE BELOW THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING, GAINED ACCESS TO FAILED HOSE AND INSTALLED NEW HOSE, FILLED AND TOPPED OFF THE COOLANT TO THE PROPER FLUID LEVEL, RETEST THE SYSTEM, NO FURTHER COOLANT LEAK DETECTED AT THIS TIME

  • -UPON INSPECTION SCANNED FOR TROUBLE CODES. FOUND TROUBLE CODE P0332-Knock Sensor #2 signal short/low voltage DISCONNECTED KNOCK SENSORS TO CHECK FOR RESISTANCE IN EACH WIRE. FOUND #2 KNOCK SENSOR BAD AT 0.772 ohms AND KNOCK SENSOR #1 OKAY AT 100.3 ohms. RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH SENSORS AS THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE SAME AREA. -ALSO RECOMMEND CLEANING THE MAS AIR FLOW SENSOR FOUND REALLY DIRTY DURING INSPECTION
