  • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check and top-off all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle. RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT.
  • REMOVE RUST, SCALE, SLUDGE AND OLD COOLANT SLUDGE FROM VEHICLES ENTIRE COOLING SYSTEM.RESTORE COOLANT, INSTALL CONDITIONER TO PROTECT COOLING SYSTEM.
  • THE NEXT MORNING WE STARTED ENGINE TO LISTEN FOR THIS NOISE. WE FOUND THE NOISE TO BE COMING FROM CLUTCH THROW OUT BEARING. THIS NOISE WILL STOP IMMEDIATELY WHEN YOU PRESS IN THE CLUTCH. WE DO NOT HEAR ANY NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. RECOMMEND CLUTCH REPLACEMENT THAT WILL INCLUDE A THROW OUT BEARING.

  • WE SCANNED FOR CODES: P0402-EGR FLOW EXCESSIVE. THIS CODE SETS WHEN THE PRESSURE RATIO OF THE MAP SENSOR SIGNAL AND THE EXHAUST PRESSURE SENSOR SIGNAL ACROSS THE EGR VALUE IS NOT AS EXPECTED. THE ESTIMATED EGR PERCENT IS GREATER THAN THE MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR THE OPERATING CONDITIONS. WE TESTED THE MAP SENSOR AND FOUND IT FAULTY. WE TRIED CLEANING HE SENSOR WITHOUT SUCCESS. WE REPLACED THE SENSOR, CLEARED THE CODE AND TEST DROVE. THE CODE DID NOT RETURN AND THE ENGINE POWER IS NORMAL.

  • INCLUDES CIRCULATE SYSTEM, CLEAN SURFACES FREE OF ANTI-FREEZE, TEST SYSTEM AND RADIATOR CAP PRESSURE, CHECK THERMOSTAT, WATER PUMP AND COOLING FANS FOR PROPER OPERATION, TEST DRIVE.

  • UPON INSPECTION WE CAN HEAR THE NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION BELL HOUSING. WE REMOVED THE LOWER BELL HOUSING SIGH COVER TO INSPECT, FOUND THE FLEXPLATE TO BE CRACKED IN TWO PLACES CLOSE TO THE REAR CRANKSHAFT. WE NEED TO REMOVE TRANSMISSION TO REPLACE THIS FLEXPLATE AND WILL INSPECT SURROUNDING AREA FOR ANY DAMAGE.
  • DURING THIS REPAIR WE FOUND ALL HARDWARE ON THE EXHAUST TO BE COMPLETELY RUSTED DOWN TO NOTHING. WE NEEDED TO TORCH AND CUT THE HARDWARE OFF. WE PUT NEW HARDWARE BACK ON. THIS ADDED 1.0 TO LABOR. AFTER REPAIRS WE CHECKED FLUID LEVEL AND TEST DROVE AND RECHECKED SYSTEM, GOOD. FLUID LEVEL WAS PROPER AFTER LETTING ENGINE COOL DOWN.
