WE TEST DROVE VEHICLE, NO TRANSMISSION SLIPPAGE. WE REMOVED TRANS PAN TO INSPECT, FOUND FLUID GOOD, NO EXCESSIVE METAL IN PAN. WE WILL REPLACE BOTH FILTERS AND FLUID. FOUND OIL COOLER LINES LEAKING.

UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODE: PO842- Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor Switch A Circuit Low WE SUSPECT THIS CODE IS DUE TO THE VALVE BODY BEING GUMMED UP. CHECKED THE FLUID, FLUID IS BURNT. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE THE PUMP IS WHINING FROM LOSS OF PRESSURE, CONTACTED THE CUSTOMERS EXTENDED WARRANTY, EXTENDED WARRANTY STATED THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO HAVE COPIES OF MAINTENANCE RECORDS FROM THE CUSTOMER, CUSTOMER SUPPLIED MAINTENANCE RECORDS, SUBMITTED TO EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY, THEY HAVE SCHEDULED AN INSPECTOR TO COME OUT AND VERIFY CONDITION (5/14/19 INSPECTOR WAS SCHEDULED) INSPECTOR CALLED AND VERIFIED HE WOULD BE HERE 5/20/19, INSPECTOR TOOK PICTURES, INFORMATION ON FAILURE AND SUBMITTED TO EXTENDED WARRANTY, CONTACTED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY, THEY NOW ARE REQUESTING TEAR DOWN FORM THE CUSTOMER TO DETERMINED FAILURE, REMOVED AND TORN DOWN THE TRANSMISSION, ADVISED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY 6/20/19 THAT TRANSMISSION IS OUT AND TORN DOWN, THEY HAVE SCHEDULED AN INSPECTOR AGAIN, INSPECTOR CALLED AND ADVISED HE WOULD BE HERE 6/26/19, INSPECTOR TOOK PICTURES AND INFORMATION, SUBMITTED TO EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY, EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY CALLED 6/28/19 AND ADVISED THAT THE FAILED TORQUE CONVERTER IS NO A COVERED COMPONENT UNDER THE CUSTOMERS EXTENDED WARRANTY, CUSTOMER HAS CHOSE TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT DUE TO TEAR DOWN, REBUILT THE TRANSMISSION, REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION COOLER AND FLUSHED THE TRANSMISSION COOLER LINES, FILLED THE TRANSMISSION FLUID TO THE PROPER LEVEL, PROGRAMMED THE TRANSMISSION, REPLACED A COOLANT TEE THAT WAS LEAKING COOLANT, INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY, TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND RETEST, NO FURTHER COOLANT LEAK, TRANSMISSION IS SHIFTING AS DESIGNED

UPON INITIAL INSPECTION FOUND THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE HAS BEEN CHEWED THRU, WIRING HARNESS TO THE UP STREAM BANK 2 SENSOR 1 HAS BEEN CHEWED THRU, ALSO FOUND THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR HAS BEEN CHEWED IN HALF, INSTALLED NEW WIRING HARNESS, WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR, INSTALLED NEW 02 SENSOR, REPLACED THE BATTERY, VEHICLE STARTS NOW BUT IS MISSING, INSPECTED SPARK PLUGS, WORN, RECOMMEND TUNE UP, REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS AND SPARK PLUG WIRES, CHANCED THE ENGINE OIL, RETEST VEHICLE STILL HAS A MISFIRE ON CYLINDER #7, TESTED AND FOUND THAT THE CYLINDER DEACTIVATION ASSEMBLY IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, ADDED MOA AND TEST DROVE, NO CHANGE, REPLACED THE CYLINDER DEACTIVATION SOLENOID ASSEMBLY AND RETEST, CLEARED THE TROUBLE CODE AND TEST DROVE, NO FURTHER MISFIRE DETECTED AT THIS TIME
