  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES C0710 Steering signal sensor signal circuit plausibility failure INSPECTED WIRING TO STEERING SENSOR, GOOD, TESTED FOR PROPER POWER AND GROUND, GOOD, PERFORMED ON DEMAND TESTING AND FOUND THAT THE SENSOR HAS SHORTED OUT INTERNALLY AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AND PROGRAMMED, THEN RETEST THE SYSTEM. AFTER REPLACING THIS SENSOR WE CLEARED CODES AND TEST DROVE, THE CODE HAS NOT RETURNED.
  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES P0522 Engine oil pressure sensor circuit low INSPECTED THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL, GOOD, INSPECTED AND PINPOINT TESTED WIRING TO THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENOR, GOOD, PERFORMED ON DEMAND TESTING AND FOUND THAT THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR HAS FAILED INTERNALLY AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THEN THE SYSTEM RETESTED. AFTER REPLACING THE SWITCH WE FOUND THE GAUGE TO READ PROPERLY WHEN TURNING ON KEY AND STARTING ENGINE.
  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES, P0571 Brake switch circuit 1 (history code) P0672 Glow plug #2 control circuit P0677 Glow plug #7 control circuit PINPOINT TESTED THE WIRING TO THE STOPLIGHT SWITCH, SWITCH HAS GOOD POWER AND GROUND AT THIS TIME, PERFORMED ON DEMAND TESTING AND FOUND AT THIS TIME THE SWITCH IS WORKING OK, ADVISED THE CUSTOMER WE SUSPECT IT IS INTERMITTENTLY FAILING AND RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT FOR SAFETY, OHMED GLOW PLUGS AND FOUND GLOW PLUGS 2 AND 7 HAVE FAILED RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT AND THEN RETEST. AFTER REPLACING THE STOP LIGHT SWITCH, WE FOUND IT TO WORK FINE AND CODE DID NOT RETURN. AFTER REPLACING THE GLOW PLUGS, WE CLEARED CODES AND TEST DROVE AND THE CODES HAVE NOT RETURNED.

TRACED WIRING TO DEF TANK, ALL WIRING LOOKS GOOD. FURTHER TRACED WIRING UP TO BULKHEAD CONNECTOR, UNPLUGGED AND CLEANED BULKHEAD CONNECTOR ABOVE DEF TANK AND RECONNECTED, CLEARED ALL CODES AND RETESTED. DURING TEST DRIVE CODES DID NOT COME BACK. VEHICLE GOOD AT THIS TIME.

  • UPON INSPECTION TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE TO VERIFY THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN, NO NOISE HEARD COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, RACKED VEHICLE FOR INSPECTION, DROVE VEHICLE IN THE AIR AND FOUND NO NOISE COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL, INSPECTED OTHER WHEELS AND DRIVETRAIN, NO NOISE, REMOVE THE DRIVER FRONT WHEEL AND INSPECTED ROTOR FOR SIGNS OF SOMETHING CAUGHT BEHIND THE BACKING PLATE, GOOD, DID FIND THAT THE FRONT BRAKE PADS ARE HEAT CRACKED, ADVISED THE CUSTOMER OF NOT BEING ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE ISSUE, CUSTOMER STATES THEY HAD BEEN DRIVING UP A DIRT ROAD AT LOW SPEEDS, TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AGAIN UP A DIRT ROAD AT LOW SPEEDS STILL NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN, SUSPECT THAT A ROCK MAY HAVE BEEN STUCK BETWEEN THE BACKING PLATE AND ROTOR ON THE DRIVER FRONT WHEEL, DUE TO THE CUSTOMER NOT DRIVING VERY FAR ONCE THE NOISE STARTED THIS MAY WHY THERE IS NO INDICATION OF SOMETHING BEING STUCK BEHIND THE BACKING PLATE, ADVISED THE CUSTOMER AND AT THIS TIME CUSTOMER HAS OK THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND PERFORMING BRAKE SYSTEM FLUSH
