  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES, P2609 Intake air heater system performance P0513 Invalid skim key stored P063D Generator voltage sense high-stored TESTED THE CHARGING SYSTEM, BATTERIES HAVE FAILED, CALLED AND ADVISED THE CUSTOMER WE WILL NEED TO INSTALL NEW BATTERIES BEFORE WE ARE ABLE TO PROPERLY TEST FOR FURTHER ISSUES, REPLACED BOTH BATTERIES AND RETEST, NOW THAT THE PCM HAS THE PROPER VOLTAGE THERE ARE NO FURTHER ISSUES FOUND AT THIS TIME, PER CUSTOMER REQUEST BATTERY CORES ARE IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE, CLEARED THE TROUBLE CODES AND TEST DROVE, NO TROUBLE CODES HAVE RETURNED AT THIS TIME

  • UPON INSPECTION WE FOUND TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKING FROM THE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER. THE COOLER HAS FAILED SEVERELY AND HAS ALLOWED FLUID AND DEBRIS TO COLLECT BETWEEN THE INTERCOOLER AND THE RADIATOR. RECOMMEND REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AND PRESSURE WASH THE FLUID AND DEBRIS FORM THE SURROUNDING COMPONENTS.
  • WE EXPERIENCED THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING IN SECOND GEAR. UPON INSPECTION WE FOUND THE FLUID TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. A WORN OUT FRONT BAND INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION WILL CAUSE THIS PROBLEM. IF THE BAND IS VERY WORN IT CAN DAMAGE THE FRONT DRUM AS WELL. RECOMMEND REMOVE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACE FRONT BAND AND INSPECT OTHER INTERNAL COMPONENTS, RE-INSTALL TRANSMISSION, ADD PROPER FLUID.
  • WE INSPECTED OTHER U-JOINTS, THEY LOOK GOOD. WE GREASED ALL U-JOINTS.
  • WE SCANNED PCM FOR CODES: P1275 – A/C CONTROL CIRCUIT 2 OVER CURRENT C1002 – BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH 1 CIRCUIT HIGH C1404 – T. CASE RANGE POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW U0164 – LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HVAC CONTROL MODULE B210D – RECIRCULATION DOOR TRAVEL RANGE TOO LARGE B140B – REAR LEFT AUDIO SPEAKER OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN THE ONLY CODE PERTINENT TO THE PROBLEM IS C1404. WE INSPECTED TRANSFER CASE MOTOR, WIRING LOOKS GOOD. MOTOR IS SHIFTING ON IT OWN AND HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE. NEEDS NEW TRANSFER CASE SHIFT MOTOR.

  • REMOVED TRANSMISSION FROM VEHICLE. UPON OVERHAUL FOUND TRANSMISSION HAD OVERHEATED AND OUTPUT SHAFT WAS MELDED TO REAR DRUM. RECOMMEND REPLACING WITH ASSEMBLY . REPLACED TRANSMISSION PARTS PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER WITH NEW OUTPUT SHAFT AND REVERSE DRUM ASSEMBLY. REINSTALLED TRANSMISSION, REPLACED TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER, FLUSHED LINES, AND TEST DROVE-GOOD. NOTE THAT DUE TO HEAVY DUTY SHIFT KIT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD.

  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES B1296-11 Parktronics sensor 9 (circuit short to ground) C1501-96 TPS 1 (component internal failure) RESEARCH THE TROUBLE CODE FOR THE BACK UP SENSORS, FOUND A TSB RELATED TO WATER INTRUSION IN THE CONNECTOR, DISCONNECTED ALL OF THE SENSOR CLEANED AND RECONNECTED, CLEARED THE TROUBLE CODE AND RETEST, BACK UP SENSORS ARE WORKING AT THIS TIME, TROUBLE CODE C1501-96 IS RELATED TO THE TPMS SYSTEM RIGHT REAR TPMS SENSOR IS BAD LEFT REAR TPMS SENSOR IS INTERMITTENT, WILL NEED TO REPLACED AND THEN RETEST
  • UPON INSPECTION TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE TO VERIFY THE CUSTOMER CONCERN, DID FEEL A SLIGHT VIBRATION, INSPECTED DRIVETRAIN, GOOD AT THIS TIME, ADVISED THE CUSTOMER DUE TO THE TIRE TREAD WEAR THIS IS CAUSING THE SLIGHT VIBRATION

  • UPON INSPECTION FOUND THAT ABS CODE 27 INTERMITTENT SIGNAL FROM LEFT FRONT HUB SENSOR IS GOING BAD, RECOMMEND REMOVING AND REPLACING. REPLACED FRONT LEFT WHEEL HUB AND TEST SYSTEM THERE IS NO FURTHER CODES AND LIGHT DID NOT COME BACK ON DURING TEST DRIVE, ABS IS WORKING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME.
  • UPON INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLT MISSING, THERE IS EXHAUST LEAK ON CYLINDER 6, RECOMMEND REMOVING AND REPLACING EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKETS AND BOLTS.
  • UPON INSPECTION DO NOT HEAR ANYTHING OVER THE EXHAUST, NEED TO REPLACED THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKETS AND BOLTS AND THEN RE- DRIVE TRUCK TO SEE IF WE CAN HEAR ANY OTHER NOISE.
  • WHEEL HUB – Remove and Replace – 4WD Front,One Side – [Serviced as Wheel Hub Assembly.]
  • UPON INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLTS TO BE MISSING, WHILE REMOVING EXHAUST MANIFOLD FOUND THAT THE EXHAUST WAS TWISTED AND COULD NOT GET THE BOLTS OUT. RECOMMEND NEW MANIFOLD, WHEN TAKING THE BOLTS OUT OF THE HEAD THERE WAS ONE BOLT THAT WAS BROKE ALL READY NUMBER 6 AND AT THE TURBO IT BROKE COMING OUT, FROM HEAT, DRILLED OUT AND RE-THREADED HOLES FOR NEW BOLTS. TEST DROVE AND TRUCK IS NOT MAKING ANY FURTHER NOISE AND IS DRIVING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME.
