  • TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND CAN FEEL THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING BETWEEN GEARS. SCANNED VEHICLE FOR CODES AND FOUND CODES THAT SEEMS TO BE FALSE BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION IS CONFUSED. CHECKED FLUID LEVEL AND FOUND IT TO BE 1 GALLON LOW. ADDED FLUID TO PROPER LEVEL BUT NO CHANGE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING. REMOVED THE TRANSMISSION PAN TO INSPECT, FOUND EXCESSIVE METAL DEBRIS IN PAN. RECOMMEND REPLACE OR REBUILD TRANSMISSION.

  • UPON INSPECTION TESTED THE 4X4 OPERATION, FOUND THAT WHEN THE FRONT HUBS ARE MANUALLY LOCKED IN THE 4X4 WILL ENGAGE, AUTO HUBS ARE NOT LOCKING IN, PERFORMED PINPOINT TESTING ON THE WIRING TO SHIFT ACTUATOR, GOOD, PERFORMED VACUUM TEST ON THE SYSTEM AND FOUND A VACUUM LEAK, WILL NEED TO DISASSEMBLE THE FRONT END TO FURTHER DIAG
  • UPON INSPECTION VERIFIED THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN, PRESSURE TESTED THE SYSTEM AND SAW COOLANT LEAKING FROM A HOSE BELOW THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING, GAINED ACCESS TO FAILED HOSE AND INSTALLED NEW HOSE, FILLED AND TOPPED OFF THE COOLANT TO THE PROPER FLUID LEVEL, RETEST THE SYSTEM, NO FURTHER COOLANT LEAK DETECTED AT THIS TIME

  • UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND TROUBLE CODES: P0611 Fuel Injector Control Module Performance P1378 Fuel Injection Control Module Circuit Low Voltage P0261 Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low P0270 Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Low P0674 Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Circuit Fault UPON INSPECTION THE FUEL INJECTOR HARNESS, FOUND THAT THE PLASTIC PORTION OF THE HARNESS IS VERY BRITTLE AND FALLING APART, REPLACED THE FUEL INJECTION WIRING HARNESS AND RETEST, STILL HAVE A NO START CONDITION, INSPECTED THE FICM TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO LOOSE CONNECTION, GOOD, TESTED FOR POWER AND GROUND, FOUND THAT THE PLUG ON THE FICM THAT SUPPLIES POWER TO FUEL INJECTORS 1, 4 ,6 AND 7 IS SUPPLYING NO POWER, FICM HAS SHORTED OUT INTERNALLY AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED, INSTALLED NEW FICM AND RETEST, VEHICLE WILL START HOWEVER IT IS RUNNING ROUGH AND MISSING, PERFORMED A CYLINDER CONTRIBUTION TEST AND FOUND THAT THE #4 FUEL INJECTOR IS BAD, RECOMMEND REPLACING THE #4 FUEL INJECTOR AND GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER (NO SUPPLYING POWER TO THE #4 GLOW PLUG) AND THEN RETESTING, REPLACED THE #4 FUEL INJECTOR AND GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER, REPLACED THE FUEL FILTERS AND RETEST, AT THIS TIME VEHICLE IS STARTING, NO FURTHER ISSUES AT THIS TIME

  • UPON INSPECTION TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE WITH THE CUSTOMER, CUSTOMER HAD A TRAILER LOADED WITH EQUIPMENT FOR THE TRUCK TO TOW, TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE UP HESPERUS HILL, TRUCK OVERHEATED, PERFORMED ON DEMAND TESTING FOR THE FAN CLUTCH, NO RESPONSE, INSPECTED DURING ON DEMAND TESTING AND FOUND THAT FAN CLUTCH HAS FAILED INTERNALLY AND IS HARDLY TURNING, INSTALLED NEW FAN CLUTCH AND RETEST, FAN CLUTCH IS NOW FUNCTIONING WHEN PERFORMING THE ON DEMAND TESTING, ADVISED THE CUSTOMER THAT HE WILL NEED TO TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITH A LOAD TO VERIFY THAT THERE IS NO OTHER ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE
